French courses

We offer French courses in partnership with the Ministry of Immigration, Francisation and Integration as part of its Linguistic Integration Program for Immigrants.

What is it?

Our beginner, intermediate, and advanced level courses are offered part-time for 11 weeks. You have the choice between 4 or 12 hours per week. Financial assistance per training day and a childcare allowance are available if you have a valid social insurance number.

The certificate delivered at the end of the course is valid for the citizenship application.

For whom?

To register you must be:

  • sixteen years and older
  • Be a permanent resident
  • Be a refugee or an accepted refugee
  • Be an asylum seeker
  • Be a Canadian citizen
  • Be a temporary worker or an international student with an acceptance certificate from Quebec ( certificate acceptation du Québec-CAQ)
  • Be the spouse of a temporary worker or an international student with an acceptance certificate from Quebec-CAQ
