French Courses

Our French courses are offered by the Government of Quebec in partnership with the Ministry of Immigration, Francisation and Integration as part of the Linguistic Integration Program for Immigrants.

French Courses

French courses at different levels take place part-time over a period of 11 weeks, 4 or 12 hours per week. Courses may be accompanied by financial aid and an allowance for childcare costs under certain conditions.

If you wish to settle in Quebec, your knowledge of French will be taken into account in the selection process.

To register you must be:

  • 16 years and older
  • A permanent resident
  • A refugee or an accepted refugee
  • An asylum seeker
  • A Canadian citizen
  • A temporary worker or an international student with the Quebec Acceptance Certificate
  • The spouse of a temporary worker or an international student with the Quebec Acceptance Certificate from Quebec-CAQ
